The revenue of Sun Ba Power Corporation and Star Energy Power Corporation increased compared to the same period of last year.
  

    Up to the end of June 2010, the revenue of Sun Ba Power Corporation and Star Energy Power Corporation compared to the same period of last year, increased 15.3% and 16.13% respectively. The overall economic performance of Taiwan this year is better than that in last year. According to the data released from government, the amount of the export goods in June 2010 is the second highest in historical record; the cumulative amount of export goods for the first half of 2010 increased 38.66% compared to the same period of last year. TCC’s IPPs operate smoothly recently, in line with Taiwan’s economic growth, and provided reliable power to the TPC grid on schedule and with quality.

TCC announced EPS NT$0.3 for the Q1 ended March 31, 2010
      TCC announced the financial statements for the first quarter ended March 31, 2010, these results are reviewed by CPA and show a good profit.
    The net income of NT$159 million (EPS of NT$0.3) increased by 15%, as compared to the net income of NT$138 million (EPS of NT$0.26) in the corresponding period of 2009.
    TCC also gained a good profit primarily from the investment in power plants due to smooth operation with well-controlled cost, the profit injected from the reversal of a part of warranty obligations reversed as Star Buck EPC Project, and the higher profit generated from Kuan-Tien Cogeneration Plant as compared to the same period of 2009.
